This is the last of my cute Christmas card collections this year featuring the Build-A-Snowman die from the Cute Christmas Signature Collection by Sara Davies. As with my previous batches of Christmas cards I die cut the snowman components from card scraps then shaped and assembled multiple snowmen using silicone glue first before making the cards. I found that the tiny elements of this die set quite fiddly so I kept the snowmen simple using only black dots for the eyes and buttons.
I used silver mirror card, wonderland glitter vellum and the Christmas papers from my stash to assemble the cards. Some people struggle to stick vellum on their cards without the glue showing. I attached the snowman to the vellum first using silicone glue to support the shaping of the die cut character and then put tacky glue on the back of the vellum under the snowman plus a tiny dot in each corner. I then added small gems to the corners of the card to hide any traces of glue.
